​ 1.     Increase and expand representation for the Agricultural community (which includes our famers & agribusiness as a whole).  Our commonwealth was built on strong and deep farm traditions.  We do not want to lose this vital part of our heritage.  In addition, work to incorporate the continued expansion of our Farmland preservation efforts. Saving farmland is saving the very heart & soul of our county.

 

 2.     Work to help find more effective ways to support our police, fire and other emergency responders.  It feels as if this is a popular talking point that no one appears to be seriously addressing.  

 

 3.    Join in and continue the work that is currently underway in the legislature to improve the state's business climate.  This is critical to our state's future survival.  This will also help to prevent our young people from leaving PA to relocate, after they finish their education and enter the workforce.

 

 4.    Work to overhaul the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code.  The planning code is established by the state not by your local municipality.  Local officials administer and oversee it but don't create it.  The majority of the code has not been revised in 50 or more years however our district has changed drastically.  This has to be addressed now.

 5.   I will address our critical pharmacist shortage.  I feel that this is an impending disaster that keeps getting more serious.
